THE VIVIDQR GUIDE

How does an editable QR code work?

A QR code contains a link. VividQR puts a short link inside your code, then lets you choose where that link sends people. You can change the destination while the printed pattern stays the same.

Create an editable QR code
THE SIMPLE EXPLANATION

One printed code. A link you can update.

When someone scans your VividQR code, their phone opens your VividQR short link. The service immediately redirects them to the destination URL you saved. Edit that URL in your dashboard, and the next scan goes to the new page. The QR artwork and short link do not change.

This is often called a dynamic QR code. A regular QR code that contains your final website URL directly cannot change its destination after printing.

CREATE & USE

From destination to print in three steps

  1. Enter a public web address. Use an HTTP or HTTPS URL, such as a menu, booking page, campaign, or portfolio.
  2. Activate and download. Pay $1 once for one code, then download its PNG or SVG artwork for digital or printed use.
  3. Update when needed. Sign in, open your code, and save a new destination. Already printed copies keep working.
GOOD TO KNOW

Answers before you print

Can I change the text or URL inside the QR image?

The image encodes your VividQR short link, which stays fixed. You change the destination behind that link. If you want a different short link or QR pattern, you need another code.

Will people see an ad when they scan?

No. VividQR sends the scan directly to your destination without an advertising page in between.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No. One editable QR code costs $1 once. Stripe shows the total before payment.

What files can I download?

Download PNG for easy placement in documents and graphics, or SVG for sharp printing at different sizes. Test a printed sample with several phones before a large print run.

Will a paid code work forever?

Paid codes have no fixed expiry date, but redirects depend on VividQR continuing to operate and its domain remaining available. Read the service terms before relying on a code for long-lived materials.
